“Living Connections”, the illumination of the Jacques Cartier Bridge, has received the 2018 Smart Cities Award at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Innovation Awards last night in Austin, Texas. Alma Talbot from Réalisations-Montréal and Amahl Hazelton from Moment Factory were present at the awards ceremony.
The SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards recognize the “most exciting tech developments in the connected world” across 13 categories. The Smart Cities award reflects the collaboration between the seven Montreal studios involved in the illumination of the Jacques Cartier Bridge – Ambiances Design Productions, ATOMIC3, Éclairage Public/Ombrages, Lucion Média, Moment Factory, Réalisations Montréal and UDO Design.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this incredible project, and to all our fellow finalists.
